The company failed at doing research before the employee began working. I feel like if the company really wanted this person to work for the company, they should definitely compensate the worker for the 6 months. However, if the company does not feel the demand is necessary and the position can be filled by person who is just as qualified, then they may decide to not take action on hiring this person. The company from here on out should do research on the people they hire before letting go of someone. It is important for a business to stay away from lawsuits for the fact it takes time away from focusing on the business and the company can lose a tremendous amount of money.
